Carnegie Hall performances to take place while contract talks continue
After the cancellation of Wednesday night’s season-opening concert by the Philadelphia Orchestra, Carnegie Hall announced Thursday that tonight’s performance by the American Symphony Orchestra will take place as scheduled while negotiations with the stagehands union continues.
A Carnegie Hall spokesperson confirmed that the regular stagehands will be working tonight’s concert.
All other Carnegie Hall performances remain as scheduled, states the release, pending further updates on the contract situation with IATSE/Local One.
